まず、Claude Opus 4.8 と Claude Haiku 4.5 が Messages API で利用可能になりました。プロンプトキャッシングや拡張思考といったコア機能により、コーディングやエージェント作業から複雑な推論に至るまで、さまざまなユースケースをサポートします。Foundry で提供される内容は、今後さらに拡大していく予定です。
Microsoft Foundry における Claude は Azure ネイティブであり、既存の Azure ID（アイデンティティ）、ネットワーク、ガバナンス制御と連携します。請求書は単一の統合されたものとなり、対象となる Microsoft Enterprise Agreement（エンタープライズ契約）を保有する顧客の場合、Claude の利用分は Microsoft Azure のコミットメントから差し引かれます。
Azure で動作する Claude、Anthropic 運営
Microsoft Foundry で Claude を実行する方法には 2 つあります。Azure 環境での実行が重要で、Azure 認証、請求処理、ガバナンス、および米国データゾーンが必要である場合は、「Azure にホスト」を選択してください。API 機能の完全セットや、まだ Azure で利用可能なモデルではないものが必要な場合は、「Anthropic にホスト」（以前は Foundry プレビュー）を選択してください。将来的には、「Azure にホスト」と「Anthropic にホスト」の間で機能とモデルの同等性を達成することを目指しています。

Starting today, Claude models are generally available in Microsoft Foundry, hosted on Azure. Claude runs in your Azure environment with the authentication, billing, and governance controls your teams already use. You can choose where inference is processed, including a US data zone for teams with data residency requirements. Anthropic operates the inference and is the data processor.

Run Claude in Azure, operated by Anthropic
There are two ways to run Claude in Microsoft Foundry. Choose *hosted on Azure* when running in your Azure environment matters, with Azure authentication, billing, governance, and a US data zone. Choose *hosted on Anthropic* (previously the Foundry Preview) when you need the full set of API features or a model that is not yet available on Azure. Over time, we aim to have feature and model parity between the hosted on Azure offering and the Anthropic-hosted one.
