Copilot usage metrics now indicate which users have Copilot coding agent (CCA) activity. Enterprise and organization admins can identify which users are actively using Copilot coding agent on daily and 28-day reports, enabling a more complete picture of Copilot adoption across surfaces beyond the IDE.
Within the API response, CCA usage is denoted by the used_copilot_coding_agent field at the user level. You can learn more in our documentation about Copilot usage metrics.
This includes whether a user triggered a Copilot coding agent session by assigning Copilot to an issue or by tagging @copilot in a pull request comment.
